We said “Non Sibi” If not self… then who?
We have Classmates, shipmates and fellow Alumni who have given much and need our help or who have more to give and deserve that opportunity.

The Key Ideas we are pursuing
Support Our Warriors
Create a Veterans’ Educational Support and Scholarship Program (VESS) for children of disabled/KIA Alumni and others – help families find and secure financial aid and other assistance including help with applications
Prepare Our Leaders
Create an USNA Alumni Master Degree Program (AMD) in Leadership and Public Service for Alumni and their families – and create an Alumni education Foundation/Endowment and fund scholarships to graduating Midshipmen and other Alumni for this fully accredited, USNA Alumni branded, on-line, anytime customized curriculum
Share Our Experience
Implement an Alumni Mentoring Program (AMP): Career coaching for Alumni to achieve greater success, including elective office – a mandatory requirement for participation in the AMD above; mentoring by Alumni volunteers
What this is about
Our Class is evaluating what we should do for our 50th Reunion Class Legacy Project. We have big plans and need to start now.
Most Classes do major Class Projects every 10 years. The 40th and 50th tend to be “big”. Although we are proud of the support we provided for the Chapel and the great results, we are thinking WAY outside the box for our effort over the next 10 years.
Our goal is to create a lasting Class Legacy by starting new programs for Midshipmen and Alumni that will help our country, its warriors and veterans, and their families in new and meaningful ways.
Why we think this approach is better
It directly supports the USNA Mission Statement:
“To develop Midshipmen morally, mentally and physically and to imbue them with the highest ideals of duty, honor and loyalty in order to graduate leaders who are dedicated to a career of naval service and have potential for future development in mind and character to assume the highest responsibilities of command, citizenship and government.”
It will produce more: Admirals, Generals, CEOs, Congressmen, Senators, etc.
It can be done cooperatively: In concert with the USNA Alumni Association and Foundation
